Abstract |
Background. The development of modern societies takes place in conditions of acute social, economic and environmental problems. Business as part of a social system has significant impact on it. In this regard, special attention is paid to corporate social responsibility. The relevance of the research topic is due to several reasons. On the one hand, the usefulness of corporate social responsibility for society consists in solving global and local development problems, building trust and common values. On the other hand, the value of corporate social responsibility for organizations consists in reducing the negative impact of their production activities, shaping the sustainability of business in social and economic terms, increasing their intangible assets. Corporate social responsibility continues to be the leading factor in achieving good business results. The research purpose is to study the theoretical and practical bases of formation and development of corporate social responsibility in the modern world. |
